Idk how others are feeling, but this dlc has the most times I've gone "what were they thinking" while playing a From game. So many bizarre choices - choice in remembrances bosses, damage for several incantations, weapons. So strange.

My theory is that they hold back in unique animations and damage scaling due to balancing problems in the stupid pvp

This right here is why the DLC is a 6/10. You should be doing some complaining. At this point you’ve gone over almost everything the DLC has to offer, and honestly 60% of it if not MORE is dead content until they fix it. Such a shame too cause a lot of cool stuff was introduced only to be mid or worse. The OST, scenery, story, and fights were great. The weapons and general content that was added with the DLC was (for the majority) pretty horrible. But hey most people are too distracted by the 5 good weapons out of 100 that are good to care I guess. Like did they even think to test any of this out before release? Regardless, it’s a solid 6/10, 8/10 when (if) they fix these weapons/skills/spells.

Sword Lance gets the most status build up of any Heavy Thrusting Sword and Greatspear when infused.

I’ve been using the Greatsword of Radahn and it’s CRAZY against big bosses and dragons. I’m a faith/int build and I’ve seen 12k+ damage in one combo

Ash of war on the sword lance is busted with blood infusion, especially if you put it on the greatsword

i find it hilarious the throwing hands is one of the best ways to break stance in the game.

I think compared to the sword of Night and Flame, Rellana's twinblades are more well rounded. You almost never use the sword of night and flame for anything other than the ash of war and its really slow (which makes it a bad pick for the dlc bosses). Rellanas twinblade does more stagger, and actually is good as a weapon not just a glorified spell.

Carian soveregnity is impossible to hit on the final boss of the dlc no ? I totaly get it beeing broken vs normal game boss exept malenia, but vs those dlc boss its nealy impossible to hit...

Why are you using Holy damage against Melania, Omen, and Godskin Duo? They resist holy damage so of course the incantations aren't going to do damage against them. You're basically saying these incantations are bad look how little damage they do to enemy types that resist them.

The irony of this game is stupid they want you to pay $40 to get new stuff all right when you get new stuff all of them are shity in outshine by old remembrance of the base game that's so f***** up man I'm not going to buy this DLC tell price drops and only to play against new enemies because the weapons it's just b*******😂

How do the bottom tier weapons in this list even exist? When I got the poleblade I was very excited, then it turns out to be the worst weapon I've ever held? The ashes of war in the DLC make me question if they've even played their own game

I swear this video makes me realize that almost all of the boss weapons have dumb scaling that ruins most of them

Fyi the walking mausoleums in the base game CAN duplicate dlc bosses but follow the same restrictions for the no bell mausoleums. This still makes it possible to get all boss rewards in 1 playthrough however

rellanas twinblades are really good against enemies cause they have an ar of like 1,500 but they're not as good against bosses

There's not that many sorceries in the dlc because the base game was loaded with them and didn't have nearly as much incantations

But… bro of course the dlc weapons do less damage in the normal game bc the damage boosts of the fragments that you get in the dlc doesn’t count in the normal game

why does the character in the gameplay have zero endurance

My favorite dlc weapons are the death knight longaxe and the fire knight‘s greatsword

immediately after i finished the DLC i took the Greatsword of Radahn (Light) to test on malenia and first-tried her. i thought it was pretty decent lmao

Ancient meteoric sword is easy to get and ten times better than any boss weapon

favorite part of these videos is bufing flame grant me strength outside of the boss wall the losing 10 seconds before the boss is even in range of him and then spending the next 30 sec dodging attacks. flame grant me strength does not last long enough

No clue why they didn't make Radahn's rememberance give three weapons that respectively scaled with either INT, FAI or ARC. considering he has attacks to compensate for all three in the final fight, would make it more universally rewarding for the player base, instead of the mess of stats we got, big missed opportunity imo.

Three damage types is amazing I must say some of these are already better than a vast majority of base weapons.

I literally beat end boss of DLC with perfume bottles. You just need to git gud.

Regular Radahn's armor is better than promised consort armor

Something cool you can try with the rellana sword is that since rellana’s sword can be on either hand, you can use the milady on the other hand with a focus on magic or fire depending on which hand you put the sword on , and you get the normal light greatsword powerstance moveset. So if you’re against an enemy who’s fire weak, you can put the sword on the left hand, and put a flame infusion milady on the right hand. Or if you prefer magic, you can infuse the milady with cold or magic and put it on the left hand, and you can still use the stance ash of war on the main hand with the magic half of rellana’s swords

i think you suffer from meta slave mentality, sometimes you dont need to be optimal, sometimes you just have to enjoy things and have fun with them, even if there are better options. some of these weapons are very cool and have very fun attacks

The sword lance got the secony best bleed scaling in the game right after the arm and with the standart ash of war its just a great weapon. Second try mesmer spamming the ash and bleed prog after bleed prog.(167 bleed buildup at 66 arcane)

I use Giant Crusher & Lion's Claw. That infinite stamina tear is a godsend.
